Last week I had the priviledge of serving on a panel with my hero Ambassador Andrew Young, Mrs. Hope Sullivan-Masters and the Provost of Emery University Earl Lewis, along with panel moderator and new friend, T.J. Holmes now with BET, at Emery University's Goizueta Business School.

Well, the nice surprise was during the opening remarks, I was presented with something I will treasure for the rest of my life — the Leon H. Sullivan Medal.  Rev. Leon H. Sullivan was a giant in our world, not only in and to the Black community and Africa, but to and for us all. It was Rev. Sullivan who first introduced me to Africa, to Nelson Mandela, and to my origins (in Africa).  I will forever be grateful.

Thank you Hope Sullivan-Masters of the Sullivan Foundation, as well as Sam Cherribi of Emory University.

Okay, let's go…
