Today I was honored to join my friend and Ares Capital leader Michael Arougheti, along with Ares Commercial Real Estate Corporation leaders John Bartling and Bruce Cohen, members of the management and IPO teams, and the board of directors, as Ares Commercial Real Estate Corportion made its debute as a publicly traded company on NYSE Euronext in New York City.  I am proud to now serve as a member of the founding public company board of directors for Ares Commercial Real Estate Corporation.

On the occassion of the new listing, under ticker symbol ACRE, the senior team were given the opportunity to ring the NYSE Euronext opening bell. Making the morning even more special and memorable, one of Michael's sons actually rang the bell on behalf of the group, establishing himself as the youngest person known to have rang the bell at NYSE Euronext.

Michael and his team are an amazing group of individuals, and leaders, and I am deeply proud to be associated with them in this endeavor. They have the right philsophy about business, about community and most importantly, about America's come back story. Stay tuned and watch for great things to come from ACRE.

Onward and with HOPE
