The Forum of Global Shapers, Atlanta is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Tommy Dortch to its leadership Organizing Committee.

Tommy W. Dortch is the chairman and chief executive officer of TWD, Inc., a consulting firm with an emphasis on business development, public relations and fundraising. He is also the chairman-emeritus of and for 100 Black Men of America. A graduate of Fort Valley State University (FVSU) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and pre- professional social work, he enjoys the distinction of being the first to receive an honorary doctorate from the institution. Dortch served three separate terms as the university’s national alumni president and has served on its Foundation Board for 27 years. Additionally, he is an annual donor and chair of the Development Committee for the FVSU Foundation and founder of the FVSU Alumni Hall of Fame. To fill a void for addressing minority business development, Dortch co-founded the advocacy organization Georgia Association of Minority Entrepreneurs (GAME)..
