HOPE Forum Combines Efforts of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Denver Office, Bank of the West, and the Denver Public School System to Deliver Financial Empowerment to Local Workforce and Area Youth.

Operation HOPE (HOPE) is leading a two-day event, set to bring empowerment to the Denver community during the HOPE Financial Literacy Forum, Denver, November 2-3, 2011. Two-day event begins with a Financial Empowerment Forum at the Federal Reserve on November 2nd and culminates at Montbello High School the following day with the delivery of Banking on Our Future. The activities will take place at the Federal Reserve Bank Denver and at Montbello High School.
The following day, speakers including the DPS Chief of Financial Officer, David Hart, DPS Chief of Community Engagement Yana Smith and Bank of the West Rocky Mountain Division President, Michael Robinson will be present at Montbello High School to share insights with students on how to build a healthy financial future.
Other important guests for the two-day event include: Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, Vice President of the Federal Reserve, Tammy Edwards, Senior Director of Strategic Programs and Alliances, National Endowment for Financial Education, Susie Stirling, Human resources Director, Nestle Prepared Foods Company, Director Corporate Benefits of Pinnacle Food Corporation, Laurie Brednich.
