I and we are honored to announce that friend Joshua Wright, acting director of the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Financial Education is scheduled to give remarks at the Gallup-HOPE Index Forum at the Gallup Building in Washington, D.C.  Amongst other duties, Josh Wright oversees the activities of the U.S. President's Advisory Council on Financial Capability, of which I am proud to be a member.

Josh Wright serves as Acting Director for the Office of Financial Education and Financial Access at the US Department of the Treasury.  Josh leads the Treasury Department’s development and implementation of policies and initiatives intended to increase the financial capability, education, and access of Americans, which includes a special focus on low, moderate, and middle-income Americans who are not fully in the nation’s financial mainstream.  Immediately, prior to becoming the acting Director, Josh was the Director, Financial Access Innovations at Treasury.  Josh has extensive experience in the non-profit and for profit sector in media and entertainment, financial services, new business development, and business strategy, previously holding positions at the Center for Community Change, Bertelsmann’s Random House, Inc, and Booz Allen and Hamilton’s’ Commercial Consulting Business.  He holds a BA from Wesleyan University and a MBA from the Yale School of Management.
