Scott Rassi is the Operations Vice President for State Farm Insurance Companies and was confirmed to the Southeastern Board of Directors for Operation HOPE in July, 2011.  We are honored to have Scott's leadership as we embark upon the development and launch of the HOPE Financial Literacy Empowerment Center, Ebenezer.  State Farm Insurance invested $1 million in the HOPE Center at Ebenezer.

Scott joined State Farm® in 1984 as an auto claim representative in Indianapolis, Ind. He
became an employment representative at corporate in 1986, a human resources representative in the Monroe, La., office in 1988 and assistant human resources manager in Concordville, Pa., in 1990. He was named human resources manager in the Tempe, Ariz., office in 1991before moving in the same capacity to the Illinois Regional Office in Bloomington in 1995.
 
Scott was named manager – corporate human resources in 1996. In 1998, he moved to assistant division manager in Columbia, Mo. before being promoted to Auto and Fire operations manager there the following year.
 
In 2001, he was named assistant vice president – property, casualty and claims systems at corporate and executive assistant to the Chairman’s Council in 2003. In 2005, he was promoted to vice president –operations in the human resources department, before being named as our Zone's operations vice president in 2006. As operations vice president he has had responsibilities for claims, underwriting, human resources, public affairs, planning and analysis, budget, facilities management, and learning and development for the four states in the Southern Zone; Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and South Carolina.
 
Scott received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill. He has also earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. He and wife, Debbie, have three children – Kaite, Daniel, and Nathan.
