The Operation HOPE family is extremely proud of our long standing, 11 year and running national partnership with the E TRADE family of companies. The company, whose CEO Steven Freiberg will be honored at the upcoming HOPE Financial Literacy Forum Reception NYC, at NYSE Euronext next Wednesday, July 20th, 2011, has invested more than $11 million into our silver rights empowerment movement.
Specifically, E TRADE has helped to build and operate our HOPE Financial Literacy Empowerment Centers in Harlem and Washington, D.C.-Anacostia. Additionally, their employees volunteer as HOPE Corps members, and their leadership — individuals such as Michael Curcio featured in this video — are active on our regional and national board of directors. Michael serves on our national board of directors, representing E TRADE.
