The co-founders of Global Dignity gather for their 2011 Oslo Meeting in Oslo, Norway
I am honored to be here in Oslo, Norway this week for the annual Oslo Meeting with my fellow co-founders of Global Dignity, Professor Pekka Himanen and HRH Crown Prince Haakon Magnus of Norway, as we reflect on the past, think about where the world is today (and where we are as well, as part of that world), and where we all going (and how Global Dignity can help us get there).
Global Dignity, associated with HOPE Global Initiatives with respect to me personally, was originally an initiative of the Forum of Young Global Leaders (YGL), as the three co-founders were Class of 2005 YGLs as well. Our motto for our YGL tenure? "You cannot call yourself a leader, unless you are prepared to serve."
