Bravo Mr. President, on this new appointment, the recent Appointment of Bill Daley as your chief of staff (a friend), and the appointment of Gene Sperling (another friend) to key economic and leadership posts within his Administration. We must not make free enterprise and capitalism our enemy. This crisis is not about the failure of free enterprise and capitalism, but the failure of greed.

Let’s create a new paradigm, and finally make free enterprise and capitalism relevant to the poor, and ultimately, work for the poor (and middle class). More than anything today, we need to stabilize the global economy in sustainable ways, and to create a new generation of jobs. Let’s mark this recession, a reset, and create a new vision for American enterprise, and our world. This is what Operation HOPE is all about, and it is what I call silver rights empowerment.

I will be honored to work with him and the Board as a member of the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability.
