It goes without saying that I was deeply, deeply honored to step behind the pulpit at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, October 2009, and at the invitation of Ebenezer's 5th pastor in more than 125 years, Reverend Dr. Raphael Warnock, to speak on my then recently released book LOVE LEADERSHIP: The New Way to Lead in a Fear-Based World (Jossey-Bass).  I was there during their annual Men's Day program, and these photos tell a better story than I ever could.

A special thank you to my personal hero, mentor and HOPE Global Spokesman, civil rights icon and reverend, Ambassador Andrew Young, along with his lovely wife and my friend Mrs. Carolyn Young, for coming and cheering me on this morning.  Special.

Dr. King co-pastored Ebenezer Church along with his father, Martin Luther King, Sr, or Daddy King as he was lovingly known.  I am honored to say that Operation HOPE will soon be opening the HOPE Financial Literacy Empowerment Center at Ebenezer in late 2011, in association with the Financial Services Roundtable and its members, as the anchor for the new Martin Luther King Senior Community Complex, next to Ebenezer Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
