Senior aide to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, strategist of the civil rights movement in America, congressman, mayor of Atlanta, UN Ambassador for the United States, co-chair of the Atlanta Olympic Games, recipient of the US Presidential Medal of Freedom, recipient of the French Foreign Legion, recipient of more than 100 honorary doctorate degrees, namesake of the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University, and the Andrew Young School of International Studies at Morehouse College, author of several books, including the recently released "Walk in my Shoes."

He is the Emmy award winning film producer of "Andrew Young Presents" documentary series on Africa's promise and civil rights history, chairman of the Andrew Young Foundation, lifetime member of the board for the King Center, chairman of the Southern Africa Development Fund, chairman of Goodworks International, chairman of the Africa Channel, global spokesman for Operation HOPE, member of the board of advisors for Global Dignity and board of directors for the UN Foundation, civil rights icon Ambassador Andrew Young knows more than a little bit about justice, and global dignity around the world.  

Andrew Young was there on that fateful balcony, on that fateful day, when his friend Dr. King's life was taken from us.

Ambassador Young has lived the history that most of us read about. His life, is literally dignity alive and walking amongst us.
