4th of July picnic in Bryant Park 073

Thanks to the initiative of the leadership from Morehouse College, here in Atlanta, Georgia, I was honored to receive more than 35 Morehouse College students to be at my home for 4th of July celebrations here at Bryant Park, hosted by Operation HOPE. In particular I would like to thank Rahmelle C. Thompson, program director for the Dr. John H. Hopps Jr. Research Scholars Program at Morehouse College, who escorted the students here.

A special thank you to Ambassador Andrew Young and Martin Luther King, III, both of whom took time to speak with the young men during the day — changing their lives and life outlook for good, I am sure.  Chris Tucker also both spoke to the youth, and like me, took in some of the wisdom being extended by Ambassador Young.

One person can change the world. Be that one person.

Onward with HOPE

John Hope Bryant
