Love Leadership makes top-sellers list for 8th time since its release; Operation HOPE Founder John Hope Bryant continues to inspire executives, educators, government leaders and budding
entrepreneurs globally with Love Leadership principles

LOS ANGELES – May 19, 2010 LOVE LEADERSHIP: The New Way to Lead in a Fear-Based World (Jossey-Bass) makes the Inc. Magazine 800-CEO-READ 25 best selling business books list for the month of April, taking the #15 spot. Written by Operation HOPE Founder, Chairman and CEO John Hope Bryant, this month marks the eighth time the book has made the list since its release in August 2009.

Due to its popularity among CEO’s, business managers, academics, community and political leaders, Bryant has made appearances all over the world in a series of “A Conversation on Leadership” lectures. His engagements have included a discussion with Capital One President Lynn Pike and President and CEO of the New York Bankers Association Mike Smith and he was the keynote speaker at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, moderated by Operation HOPE national executive board member Don McGrath, former chairman and CEO of Bank of the West.

So far this year, LOVE LEADERSHIP has been highlighted during the "Authors and Thought Leaders" session at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, “Lectures With World Leaders” hosted by Latvia's President Valdis Zatlers in Riga, Latvia as well as events at The Economist Corporate Citizenship 2010 Conference with Matthew Bishop in New York; the U.S. Treasury Department Executive Leadership Institute in Washington, DC; and SunTrust Bank in Baltimore, just to name a few.

Earlier this month, Bryant addressed the World Economic Forum regional meeting in Tanzania, and will address the international OECD Forum in Paris on May 26. In June, he will speak at the FORTUNE/TIME/CNN Global Forum in Cape Town, South Africa.

LOVE LEADERSHIP demonstrates how leading with love and respect creates success in business and in life. The book makes the case that the best way to get ahead is to figure out what you have to give. Aimed at a new generation of leaders and extremely relevant for today's economic climate, LOVE LEADERSHIP draws on Bryant’s remarkable success story and on interviews with thirty love-based leaders such as former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Bill George, HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, Ambassador Andrew Young, and some of the last book interviews with the late, great Secretary Jack Kemp and the late civil rights icon Dr. Dorothy I. Height.

LOVE LEADERSHIP outlines the five laws of love-based leadership: Loss Creates Leaders (there can be no strength without legitimate suffering), Fear Fails (only respect and love leads to success), Love Makes Money (love is at the core of true wealth), Vulnerability is Power (when you open up to people they open up to you), and Giving is Getting (the more you offer to others, the more they will give back to you).
