Atlanta 006

My barber Vince Clemons in Atlanta made my day when he told me this morning that after I signed a copy of Love Leadership for his friend and fellow barber Brandon Carter, he read through half the book in a day, and they talked about the book and what it meant "in and to their lives" until 11pm last night (a Saturday evening when most black men are out partying somewhere).  There is no more authentic "book review" than one from a black barber shop. Made my day.

Soon Rick's Barber Shop will be hosing "A Conversation on Leadership" at the barber shop, here in Atlanta, featuring me an my personal hero (also featured in the book) civil rights icon Ambassador Andrew Young.  Stay tuned.  If you are interested in attending this "Conversation at the Barber Shop," contact Vince Clemons
