Carnegie Hall 004

A couple weeks ago the Forum of Young Global Leaders, in association with founder and chairman, Professor Klaus Schwab, and the World Economic Forum, I was honored to speak on a YGL inspired arts and culture program at Carnegie Hall in New York City.  Major initiatives such as this don't simply "happen;" it takes leadership, and resources.  In this regard I wanted to take a moment to commend two specific individuals, without which this event simply would not have happened.  A special thank you to behind the scenes leaders who really "made this happen;" namely Ms. Hilda Ochoa-Brillembourg, president and CEO of the Strategic Investment Group, and my dear friend and fellow YGL Lorenzo A. Mendoza, chief executive officer if Empresas Polar, one of the largest companies in Latin America.   With this said, I must also acknowledge and thank Katya Gorbatiouk, whose idea this event was from the start, and my friend David Aikman, director of the Forum of Young Global Leaders, who saw fit to support this wortwhile initiative.

Lorenzo and Hilda — thank you, for doing more than you had to, and not asking for credit even as you did it.  This is simply part of the credit and acknowledgment, from me, that you deserve!

Onward and with HOPE

John Hope Bryant, YGL
