Introducting Redesign Our World.
My friends and fellow YGLs that make up the Forum of Young Global Leaders, my second global family of sorts, associated with the World Economic Forum, has once again stepped into the leadership breach. At a time when the world was calling for "a new way to lead," my fellow YGLs inspired me to write my now bestselling book, LOVE LEADERSHIP: The New Way to Lead in a Fear-Based World.
5 years ago this group inspired three YGLs, namely Professor Pekka Himanen of Finland (author of a dozen books in several languages and one of the leading philosophers in the world today), HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway and myself, to co-found and launch Global Dignity, which recently hosted its second GLOBAL DIGNITY DAY, 2009, on October 20th, 2009, in 32 countries around the world.
Today, this same group of amazing leaders, once again led by my fellow YGL, fellow Global Dignity co-founder, HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, has launched Redesign Our World. Redesign Our World, idealized in its impressive new website, seeks to become the staging area for the bottom-up, fundamental redesign of the world we want to see and live in (in the form of systems, institutions, regulation, ethics, and global structures), post-global crisis. Best of all, it is designed with you in mind, which means that you, the public, can participate in this global dialogue about the world in which we want to live.
Log on to Redesign Our World, log your vote for best ideas, join an initiative, or submit an idea of your own! Okay, let's go...
