Global-Financial-Liteacy-Summit-logo Operation HOPE and I are pleased and honored to report that White House Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President Ms. Valerie Jarrett is confirmed to give the closing keynote address at the HOPE Global Financial Literacy Summit on June 17th, 2009, at THEARC in SE, Washington, D.C.  Other lead keynote speakers include Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, FDIC Chair Sheila Bair and civil rights icon Ambassador Andrew Young.

Additionally, HOPE will broadcast President Obama's landmark speech on financial modernization and regulation at the White House, to all summit delegates on June 17th at 12:45pm.  Operation HOPE has also been graciously invited to join the President at the White House for this important speech.

The Honorable Valerie Jarrett is senior advisor and assistant to the President for intergovernmental relations and public engagement, and is widely viewed as one of the most influential aides within the Obama White House.  After listening to her speak in Jordan recently in a meeting with Young Global Leaders, and meeting her at The White House in Washington, D.C., I can also say she is very, very smart.

If you cannot attend this historic global summit on June 17th, 2009, then register to watch it on Live Webcast at

Onward with HOPE
