I was honored to speak this week at the Nelson Mandela Promise of Leadership Conference, hosted by the Nelson Mandela Foundation in South Africa. It tickled me that the organizers thought I was a "Reverend," and listed me as such (smile). And adding humor to this, right in the middle of my presentation an enormous African hail and thunderstorm centered over the conference space, and then the power went out. Needless to say, I did not let that stop me, and continued to speak after the power came back up, under the theme "never, ever give up."
