JHB and Don Lemon  Today at 7pm EST, 4pm PST, John Hope Bryant will be interviewed by Don Lemon on CNN around a recent PEW study on the state of optimism (for the future and their children), and why African-Americans seem more optimistic than mainstream Americans and other ethic groups.  Check it out. We can and WILL get through this global economic crisis, including the economic crisis currently invading your own home, family and wallet.  Remember, rainbows only come after storms, and even after the Great Depression many GOOD THINGS happened — from Social Security, to the FDIC, the Securities Exchange Commission, to our modern social safety net.   The 20 years following the depression were by all accounts the best American years in modern history — culminating in the birth of the American (and African-American) middle class, and the Marshall Plan, which gave America global credibility and moral authority.

Keep the faith, because that is precisely what will get you through this current crisis with your sanity, and dreams, in place.

Onward with HOPE,

John Hope Bryant
