The real magic of South Africa is it’s people. Unlike people I meet almost anywhere else in the world, they are consistently optimistic about their future, and Their country – even when they don’t own much materially. In the airports you get “hello,” “thank you sir,” and “you’re welcome.”. In the hotel, the same thing. And it is not a game, or a lead in for a tip. They really want nothing from you. The South African people believe in Ubuntu, or basically, “I am because you are” (generally defined).

I am honored to have Operation HOPE of South Africa here. I am honored by the work we do here. I am honored to be African. One.

With HOPE
