Last week HUD Secretary Steven Preston convened a first ever leadership Roundtable around the intersection of responsible subprime mortgage lending and financial literacy. Building on the May 28th meeting of my Committee on the Under-Served for the Council, the Secretary brought together more than 60 influential leaders from government, community and the private sector.
