Congressman William Clay, Jr. and I met recently to discuss bringing Operation HOPE's work to his district. We also discussed the U.S. President's Advisory Council on Financial Literacy, which I serve as vice chairman.
Congressman Clay, a new friend of HOPE and the Council, is a very sharp man, a leader, and public servant of integrity, as was his dad, who also served in congress and is a bit of a legend.
The younger Clay serves on the financial services committee in Congress and is a sharp mind on the issues I care deeply about; empowering the poor and the under-served with "silver rights." I look forward to working closely with him in the weeks and months to come.
Onward with HOPE,
John Hope Bryant
