Yesterday U.S. Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson visits Oakland HOPE Center and speaks out on the economy, the housing crisis, the critical need for financial literacy in our society and what we can do about it. On hand with Secretary Paulson included U.S. Treasurer Anna Cabral, Oakland Mayor Ron Dellums, along with the chairman (Charles Schwab), vice chairman (me) and a member (Don McGrath) of the new U.S. President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy. A special kudos and thank you to our Oakland HOPE Center partner Bank of the West for hosting us all on yesterday at the Oakland HOPE Center.
