"I think Dr. King would be impressed with advances made in the area of technology and the opportunities available in education for many to excel, but he would be disappointed that many in our community have become experts in what we are against, versus becoming experts in what we are for. Dr. King was the ultimate optimist, and he would want us to stop just talking about the dream, and to start living it. I think he would have us begin to focus on economic empowerment and self-reliance, building upon Civil Rights successes with Silver Rights, too."
