Norway, whose 4.7 million people already contribute almost $4 billion a year to aid developing countries, will give $1 billion on top of that in the next 10 years to reduce deaths of millions of mothers and children from preventable causes, it’s prime minister Jens Stoltenberg, announced at the Clinton Global Initiative meeting last week.
