_mg_4726Bravo Drunia, bravo….

Recently Operation HOPE joined this lovely lady in support of her new documentary, which tells the inspiring story of blacks on Wall Street,

Nyc_026 A special kudos goes out to my friend Alfred Edmund, Jr., editor in chief of Black Enterprise Magazine, and Robert Marchman, executive vice president of the NYSE and a regional board member for Operation HOPE, who together co-sponsored a recent fundraiser providing support to Drunia’s efforts. The fundraiser, held recently at the New York Stock Exchange, was a fantastic celebration of past, current and future bright lights on Wall Street.

This is what the "silver rights" movement is all about, and I and we are very proud to support Drunia in this first class effort.

Pictured in this final photo is, from left to right, me, my nephew Daniel Marsh Kennedy (who is brilliant I might add…), my beautiful mother-in-law Janie Sykes Kennedy, Alfred Edmund, Jr., my sister-in-law Terri Kay-Aba Kennedy (owner of the only Yoga studio in Harlem), Mrs. Edmund and Drunia.

Onward, with HOPE

John Hope Bryant
