Event to Bring Together Hundreds of Political, Corporate & Community Leaders to Remember LA Riots and Make Calls-to-Action for Future Support and Change
WHAT: Operation HOPE, the LA-based, national nonprofit focused on bringing "Silver Rights" - empowerment through financial literacy - to underserved communities all over the world, will gather hundreds of leaders in government, the private sector and the Los Angeles community on a string of charter buses to reflect on the riots that devastated LA 15 years ago. The event will celebrate the positive change and accomplishments the community has seen (including the birth of Operation HOPE), and will present calls-to-action for a better future.
