BrookingsRecently I agreed to join an advisory board for the urban Markets Initiative of the Bookings Institution in Washington, D.C. Check out their work for yourself through their website. Cutting edge along the lines of "silver rights," the empowerment of the poor and the under-served, and a serious focus on low-wealth communities as dignified emerging markets of the future. Also, Social Compact does some important work along these lines, whose leader, John Flamage, I am also proud to serve with on this advisory board at Bookings. Bookings recently published a leading edge report entitled "The High Cost of being Poor." Check out their newest report, "Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due."

A special bravo to Alyssa Stewart Lee, acting director, and her team from the Urban Markets Inititative of the Brookings Institution.

Onward, with HOPE
