Nov06_113_1My special thanks to longtime friend, Debbi D. Brock, and her colleagues there at Berea College for inviting me to be their Convocation speaker on yesterday. It was a real treat, at and for a truly historic institution that is making a real difference in the world. Berea was founded in 1855 by abolitionists who were committed to whites and blacks being educated together as one -- in 1855! Amazing story of vision and leadership. Well, this is probably one of the earliest examples of individuals figuring out that "diversity is a business strength."  Here are my remarks from the evening session with 500 students. You can also subscribe to my podcast through iTunes to receive all of my speeches, free to your iPod, at http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=202466633.

Onward, with HOPE
