President Clinton changed his Africa travel agenda in order to make a brief visit to Nigeria to make this speech, in large because of my hero Ambassador Andrew Young, who invited him. Former President Clinton traveled to Rwanda and other countries with Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates, on behalf of his Clinton Foundation work to help combat HIV/AIDS and other challenges to opportunity and dreams on the African continent.
