This is but one of the hundreds of entrepreneurs I encountered throughout Rwanda and other parts of Africa during the course of my trip. This particular young lady made a customer service art form out of the simple task of selling me a pair of Sketcher boots for my Gorilla trek. Her stellar selling job of and for Ambassador Andrew Young and I literally brought the street to her doorstep.
There is no welfare system or social safety net in Africa so entrepreneurship is a necessity for survival, not an option, and this alone will is hope for the strivers on the African continent. More here later.
Onward, with HOPE
