Day_of_hope_save_the_date_2_5 Some things just should NOT be missed… This happening, "A Day of HOPE with Andrew Young," is one of them.

On this day, Tuesday, April 12th, 2005, Ambassador Andrew Young, the civil rights icon, aide to the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, reverend, former congressman, former mayor of Atlanta, former United States ambassador to the United Nations — and today an internationally respected icon of peace, hope and possibilities, and I will be celebrating "the dawning of a new movement in 21st century America — from civil rights to silver rights!"

The following day, April 13th, 2005, following a discussion on the global economy between Ambassador Young and former President Jimmy Carter, and an issue forum with the Drum Major Institute and former urban mayors, we will stand with Ambassador Young and Dean Roy Bahl of the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Atlanta, Georgia, as they cut the ribbon to the new building for the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University.

An incredible day, with and for an incredible man…and an incredible opportunity to make a difference in the world! See you there…

Onward, with HOPE
